August 7th & September 13th: Adho Mukha Vṛkṣāsana & Piñcha Mayūrāsana: Progressing, not Regressing
Balancing on the hands and forearms requires both strength and suppleness. In these Master Classes, you will refresh and reawaken the intelligence of the limbs to preserve the integrity of the joints while gaining insight into how skillful sequencing prepares for these inverted arm balances.

Together, we will examine how the primary actions cultivated throughout practice evolve, tracing the progression from Chaturaṅga Daṇḍāsana to Adho Mukha Śvānāsana and ultimately culminating in a more stable and integrated experience in Adho Mukha Vṛkṣāsana and Piñcha Mayūrāsana.

Variations, adaptations, and prop-supported alternatives will illuminate the essential principles of these poses, making their study accessible to students at different stages of practice.

August 30th: Light on Dhanurasana: The Art of the Bow
Explore the bow through its many expressions in this progressive practice, uncovering the artistry of each unique variation and the common thread that runs through them all. As the outer form transforms, we will also consider pariṇāma—the transformation of consciousness described by Patañjali. Students of all levels (1–4) are welcome.

FREE Philosophy study begins @ 5:15 PM ET on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
All classes are 90 minutes in duration and taught hybrid, unless noted otherwise.

Class Fees

Regular participation clarifies the process of Yoga as well as its intended purpose, enhancing the experience for the student and teacher. Those attending class consistently are invited to purchase classes at discounted pricing. For more information about discounted pricing send us an email.

Equity Access

The teachings of Yoga say it is “sarva-bhauma” —available to one and all. To support that principle, the code “equity” can be used during check-out to register at a 100% discount. In exchange, please send a contribution of any amount that aligns with your circumstances via Venmo @holly-kostura or Paypal: https://paypal.me/yogawithholly108

This way, the Yoga supports and upholds the Yoga.
